Summary

There has been a vast increase, over the last few years, in the use of advertising on social media platforms, for example Twitter, Facebook and Google+.  As we all know these platforms can be seen by anybody, at any time & from many different devices, so it is extremely important for advertisers to make sure that their marketing communications are recognisable and do not mislead or offend consumers.

Description

Marketing communications should allow consumers to make informed decisions regarding the product but also the issue of whether the commercial nature of the marketing communications is clear needs to be considered.
