The Committee of Advertising Practice has recently introduced new rules for advertising food and drink products to children in non-broadcast media to coincide with new content rules for TV advertisements. Both sets of rules will be enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) from 1 July 2007.
CAP held a master class on 5 June to brief the industry on the new rules for the advertising of food and drink products to children in non-broadcast media.
