Since Viagra was granted a product licence last year, several herbal ‘potency’ pills have appeared on the market. As yet, neither the ASA nor CAP has seen satisfactory evidence to support efficacy claims for this type of product. Members are asked to contact the Copy Advice team before accepting any advertisements for such herbal alternatives to Viagra purporting to improve potency or boost one’s sex drive.
