ASA backs scams awareness campaign

Scams are misleading, underhand, devious and unscrupulous means of duping unsuspecting people for financial gain. Educating consumers how to recognise them forms a key part of the campaign. The ASA is using February to focus on advertising scams, highlighting how they work and how to avoid them.
