ASA violence in advertising seminar (18 October 2007)
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) Chairman, Lord (Chris) Smith hosted a seminar in Nottingham on Wednesday 21 November that focussed on the issue of violent imagery in advertising. The timely event followed a significant increase in complaints to the ASA in this area during the past year.

ASA Graduate Training Seminars (25 September 2007)
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) held their annual training sessions for new staff, from marketing communications agencies, on 23, 24 & 26 October 2007. The seminars took place at the ASA's offices in Holborn.
