All incoming complaints are initially handled by a Complaints Reception team and then allocated as appropriate to Complaints Executives. More complex cases are then referred to Investigations Executives. Many advertisements cover all-media and therefore the Executives are trained in both non-broadcast and broadcast media.

The Compliance and Code Policy and Monitoring teams under the Director of Advertising Policy and Practice have responsibility across all media and work closely with their colleagues in Complaints and Investigations.
