New UK Advertising Codes
CAP and BCAP are pleased to publish new UK Advertising Codes, which will come into effect on 1 September 2010.
The Codes have been revised following a two-year review to make sure the rules remain effective and relevant for the future. The new rules were subject to a full public consultation last year which attracted around 30,000 responses from consumers, industry, Government, charities and other interest groups.
The Committees are grateful to all who took part in the consultation process and helped to shape the new Codes which come into effect on 1 September 2010.
